Wilson Staff FG Tour FORGED Mens Irons - STEEL SHAFTS
Wilson Staff irons are used on the professional tours by Padraig Harrington, Ricky Barnes, and leading amateurs worldwide. Continued development and feedback has lead to an advancement in refinements from this play-testing were critical in finalising the shape and weighting of the FG Tour forged irons.
Some of the key benefits are:
1. Tour-Preferred Feel
Precision forged from a mild carbon steel, the Tour-proven design incorporates minimally progressive offests, a square toe blade shape and thin top line to fit the better player's eye. A Tour-configured sole design promotoes better turf interaction over a wide range of lies.
2. Mass Distribution
The shallow cavity redistributes weight from the heel into the toe, positioning the center of gravity in the center of the face and increasing MOI for stability and a more solid feel.
3. Conforming Grooves
CNC-milled faced and grooves push the maximum limits of the new specifications required by the USGA and R&A. A strategically positioned higher CG delivers a higher spin rate and promotes the ability to work the ball more effectively.
These clubs are fitted with True Temper Dynamic shafts in R300 (regular) and S300 (stiff) flexes.
