Mizuno MP-68 Forged Irons (Chrome Finish) - Steel Shafts
Mizuno have been renouned for making the best forged players irons on the PGA Tour and amateur market for years.
The 2011 range includes the MP68 in 2 finishes Chrome or Black Nickel (you are ordering the Shiny CHROME version here).
A truly beautiful club to look at and in Mizuno testing they found it gave them an un-presedented feel and ability to shape shots. Designed for professional and highly skilled ameatuers alike, it will meet your expectations on performance and feel.
The MP-68 Chrome has a scalloped muscle back and shorter hosel which gives a lower and more centered centre of gravity to give a lower more penetrating ball flight demanded by most good players. Neutral bias allows shots to be shaped both left and right.

A 3D muscle pad enables Mizuno’s Grain Flow Forged construction to deliver the purest feedback of any Mizuno iron.
Head shape, offset and turf interaction are designed around feedback from Mizuno's Tour Workshops on the legendary MP-33. A more cambered top edge, straighter leading edge and compact PW create a look that surpasses even Mizuno’s previous blades.
This model is designed to conform to the 2010 Condition of Competition rule.

"The 68 takes everything we've learned from our previous blades in terms of shape, offset, turf interaction and combines them with our findings in modal analysis (vibration) into one clean package..
We started with the MP-33, by common consent a modern classic and looked at the tools at our disposal which could improve it. The biggest gains came from our research into feel – in blind tests over 80% of our Tour players chose the MP-68 design over the MP-33....
We also made a few minor tweaks to the head-shape. Cambering the top edge gives the MP-68 a much more playable look, while scaling down the PW addresses the one acknowledged imperfection of the MP-33.".
